Sometimes designer lingo leaves the rest of the population clueless. This almost always happens when we get on the phone and say, “send us the file in a vector format, please.”

A vector file allows designers to do just about anything with the file, like adjust the size, or change the color and background. This infographic does a great job of explaining what a vector file is, and why you should be using it.
