PaperStreet Named a Google Partner
We’ve Achieved Google Partner Status
PaperStreet is excited to announce that we were just named a Google Partner. The program, geared toward advertising agencies, digital marketing professionals and online consultants, offers special benefits to its Partners.
The Google Partner badge indicates a healthy business with happy clients and a commitment to following Google best practices – all things PaperStreet strives to achieve. It is the official “seal of approval” from Google.
The Google Partner Process
The process of becoming a Google Partner is three-fold. Companies working toward Partner status must first sign up for a Google Account. Additionally, they must create an AdWords manager account and enter their URL into the Google company profile.
Companies must be AdWords certified to become a Google Partner. The AdWords certification is granted through completion of the AdWords Fundamentals exam and an additional AdWords advertising exam in various categories (which Pete and Emily both passed!). Once these steps have been followed and the necessary exams passed, companies can then receive Google Partner recognition.
Benefits of Being a Google Partner
Partners are listed on Google Partner Search, a search engine specifically made for Partners. By allowing companies to find us with greater ease, Partner Search increases exposure for our advertising and website services. Google Partners also have access to AdWords promotional offers for clients, both present and future.
Partners must maintain Partner status by remaining up-to-date with requirements. Losing Partner status strips companies of the right to use the Google Partner badge, removes the agency’s listing from Partner Search, and prohibits advertising as a Google Partner.
Although Partner qualifications may be updated occasionally, companies are notified when requirements have not been met and are given ample time and instruction for completing them.
