Why Are Landing Pages Beneficial?
When making a website, there are some pages that are non-negotiable. These are the pages that will make or break your website. When used properly, they can set you above your competition, and leave a lasting impression that may lead to new future clients.
With so many websites out on the World Wide Web, it’s important to ensure that yours is among the top choices. But which pages should you prioritize? And what is going to give you the most bang for your buck? Landing pages.
A Smart Way to Add Value
Landing pages are one kind of page that always adds value to your website. Typically, these pages are used for one of three reasons:
- PPC (pay-per-click) Advertising Campaign – PPC requires a designated landing page. For pay-per-click campaigns we often design multiple landing pages for each campaign, AdGroup and sometimes even with specific keywords, which allows you to write targeted copy to a user looking for your services.
- SEO (Search Engine Optimization) – Sometimes you need extra page copy that you want to rank high on a specific subject. Perhaps you want to rank higher for Chapter 7 bankruptcy and you want to provide the ultimate resource on that subject. You could have a landing page with all the resources to your subpages; or you can combine the page into single long-page content, designed to convert.
- Advertising – Sometimes you have other advertising opportunities where you want to make a specific announcement for an event, tradeshow, target market, or group of people. In this case, you create a one-off page with specific copy.
Simply put, landing pages are a necessity. Whether you’re looking to add value through PPC, SEO, or advertising campaigns, you won’t want to miss out on having these pages on your website.
